New materials for making

There is always a joy in finding new materials for making my art, whether that is exploring new angles in my photo capture of the subject of my painting, the process of preparing the paper, the paper itself or new watercolour paints. I challenge myself to use studio time to invest as much time in experiencing materials in new ways, trying to work different or experiement with new materials on the market. What I have found is that there are some particular materials that work for my style and others are still discovery. All good fun. These are some that I really do enjoy and continue to create with.
